ARNEG CANADA INC

Arneg Canada Inc . comes from the strategic alliance of Equipment de Supermarché

D .M .L . and the multi-national company Arneg SPA, the third largest, worldwide
manufacturer of refrigerated equipment . Équipement de Supermarché D .M .L . was
formed in 1988 in Napierville Quebec and specialized in the reconstruction of used

refrigerated cases for the supermarket industry . Founded by Réjean Lalumière, the
company at that time employed twelve people . In 1992, Mr . Lalumière purchased

a 40,000 square foot building in Lacolle, Quebec on a one million square foot
parcel of land . That’s when Mr . Lalumière launched production of new refrigerated
cases under the name DML-Impulsion . The company quickly became a leader in

the refrigerated case industry in the province of Quebec .

It was in 1996 that Mr . Lalumière met representatives of the company Italian

Arneg S .P .A . . This multinational, founded in 1963, has fourteen factories around
the world and employs a thousand people across the planet . We then witnessed

the creation of Arneg Canada Inc ., acting under the name Arneg D .M .L ., thus
recognizing the contribution of D .M .L . in the new entity . There transaction has
immediate benefits for the company and leads the latter quickly to a major

expansion of manufacturing activities and a significant increase in staff . To meet
demand, the factory has been enlarged several times over the years . Today, the

factory makes more than 300K ft2 and employs more than 250 people . We are
proud to be the largest manufacturer of refrigerated cases in Canada .
